Flower & Football Hat

This hat is perfect for that little sports fan in your life!  

Materials used: 

-Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn in white, mango, and light gray. 

-Size H crochet hook

-Yarn needle 

-Football button from JoAnn

First, start out with a simple double crochet hat pattern!  The hat pictured is a 9 month size.  There are millions of crochet hat patterns on Pinterest.  Here is a link I found when searching "double crochet hat pattern."

This flower is one of my new favorite flower patterns!  The stitch used to make the inside petals of the flower is the popcorn stitch.  This stitch was new to me but the pattern explains the stitch and even has pictures!  The pattern is a FREE pattern on Ravelry!  You can find it here.
